Description:

Roger Button is Benjamin Button’s father. He’s a good man but I think he’s a little nervous when Benjamin was born;  he couldn’t enter into the room. At first, I think he was embarrassed of him but finally he accepted Benjamin and he loved him. He’s a clever man and good in business. He’s strict and he wants his son to  be a great business man so he can study at university.

When and where does the story begin?

The story begins in a beautiful summer day in 1860, in the Maryland Private Hospital.

What happens in the story?

When his father went to see his baby in the hospital he saw that his “baby” looked like an old man. They decided to call him Benjamin. Then, as Benjamin was growing he looked younger. When he was 20, he looked like a 50 years old man. As time went by, he got married and he formed a family, then he looked younger and younger. Finally he died looking like a baby.

How does the story end?

He’s 65 years old but he's a baby, he has a nurse, Nana who takes care of Benjamin. One day, he was looking at  fishes in the water and he saw all his life, he smiled and he closed his eyes for the last time.

What is your opinion of the book?

I think this book is strange. The story is very original but some things are unreal and impossible, like when he was born he talked  and that’s impossible. The end is a little sad but I like it. I think is a good book and the author had a lot of imagination and creativity.
